Fly Fishing 201
A Guide for off the Water in
Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana
Fly Fishing off the Water
We
fish in Montana for one or two weeks each year. The fishing is what
originally drew us to the area but is now not our main interest. We’re
finding that we enjoy our off the water activities just as much. This
is actually nothing new for me. Even when in college, a trip was as
much about the fish as it was finding a new place to have a great
burger and cold beverage. Back then I thought that guidebooks should
spend more space on what to do when you are off the river. You know,
which café has the best chicken-fried steak, which motel is clean and
cheap, where to find a great deli for river snacks.

it to the appropriate page. If you disagree with a review, send that as
well. Here are some of the listings I am looking for.

and can recommend. Where possible, please click through from this site
and check out their goods.
I hope to hear from you soon.
